Since living in Germany, I have developed an ever greater passion for cooking as my desire for Japanese food grew.
So, with the help of my extremely patient mother, I learned to cook until all the dishes tasted the way they should. Most of the recipes in this book come from my grandmother, my mother and my aunt. These are typical family recipes that are easy to prepare and - as is common in Japan - compiled according to the four seasons.
