Preparations for the harvest festival are in full swing in the palace. Even the guards are busy, and so Wolfgang is given the unpleasant task of looking after the horses. To escape his loneliness in the stable, he finally suggests holding a horse race on the day of the festival.
As the streets are inspected for the royal parade, Wolfgang once again witnesses the injustices that befall the common people. Boiling with anger, he then comes up with a special plan for the horse race...
